Ambassadors

Ambassadors is The BAME Woman in Law's university ambassador programme. It is a network of student representatives from universities across the UK who are committed to championing diversity, equity and inclusion while connecting aspiring legal professionals with opportunities, community and support.

What do Ambassadors do?
As an Ambassador, you will:
  • Represent The BAME Woman in Law at your university
  • Promote our programmes, events and opportunities to fellow students
  • Connect aspiring legal professionals with our community and resources

Who can apply?
We are looking for women from minority ethnic backgrounds who are:
  • Currently studying law or a related subject at a UK university
Passionate about diversity, equity and inclusion, and committed to supporting aspiring legal professionals
  • Proactive, organised and enthusiastic about representing The BAME Woman in Law on campus

What do Ambassadors get?
Ambassadors is not just about giving. We invest in our Ambassadors too. As part of the programme, you will receive:
  • Official recognition as a The BAME Woman in Law Campus Ambassador, with a certificate upon successful completion
  • Exclusive access to mentorship, professional development opportunities, and our network of legal professionals
  • Leadership experience that strengthens your CV and supports your personal and professional growth.

Why does this matter?
Many women from minority ethnic backgrounds begin their legal journeys without access to the networks, opportunities and support that can make all the difference. Ambassadors exists to change that. Through a network of student representatives across UK universities, we are building communities where aspiring legal professionals feel seen, supported and connected from the very start of their journey.

Applications for Ambassadors are now open. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
