Ambassadors

Ambassadors is The BAME Woman in Law's Campus Ambassador Programme. It is a network of student representatives from universities across England and Wales who champion diversity, equity and inclusion while connecting aspiring legal professionals with opportunities, community and support.

What do Campus Ambassadors do?
As a Campus Ambassador, you will:
  • Represent The BAME Woman in Law on your campus
  • Promote our programmes, events and opportunities to fellow students
  • Help connect aspiring legal professionals with our community and resources

Who can apply?
We are looking for women from minority ethnic backgrounds who are:
  • Currently studying law or a related subject at a UK university
  • Passionate about diversity, equity and inclusion, and committed to supporting aspiring legal professionals
  • Proactive, organised and enthusiastic about representing The BAME Woman in Law on campus

What do Campus Ambassadors get?
Being a Campus Ambassador is not just about giving back, we're committed to investing in our Ambassadors too. As part of the programme, you will receive:
  • Recognition as a The BAME Woman in Law Campus Ambassador, with a certificate upon successful completion of your tenure
  • Exclusive access to mentorship, professional development opportunities, and our network of legal professionals
  • Leadership experience that strengthens your CV and supports your personal and professional growth.

Why does this matter?
Too many women from minority ethnic backgrounds begin their legal education without the support they need to access, navigate and thrive within the legal profession. Ambassadors exists to change that. Through a network of student representatives across universities in England and Wales, we're building communities where aspiring legal professionals feel seen, supported and connected from the very start of their journey.
