Our Mission

The BAME Woman in Law is a registered charity operating in England and Wales. We exist to promote equality and diversity for the public benefit by supporting women from Minority Ethnic (ME) backgrounds, including Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) women, to enter and progress within the legal profession.
We focus on early-career support through targeted mentoring, skills-building workshops, and networking opportunities designed to reduce socio-economic barriers and increase access to the legal sector. Our work aims to make the profession more inclusive while building a supportive community where women from underrepresented backgrounds can learn, connect, and grow with confidence.
