Our Vision

The BAME Woman in Law is a UK-registered charity committed to advancing Sustainable Development Goal 5 (Gender Equality) by supporting women from minority ethnic backgrounds, including Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) women, to access, navigate, and thrive in the legal profession.

We do this through our flagship mentorship programme, Be Mentored, as well as webinars, events, our WhatsApp Community, and Learning Hub. Together, these initiatives are designed to reduce barriers, improve access to opportunities, and support professional development in the legal profession.

Our work seeks to create a more inclusive legal profession while fostering a supportive community where women from underrepresented backgrounds can learn, connect, grow, and thrive with confidence in the legal profession.
